Aziz Figarela

He was born in Margarita Island, Venezuela. He is a high performance athlete who belonged to the Venezuelan National Team of Swimming with Fins. His best participation in the world was to have achieved a World Record in this discipline as well as in the World-Wide Championship in Russia where he obtained the third position in the 2013 world. These are only 2 of the much national and international participation where he has managed to beat numerous records.

Aziz is an excellent athlete with an optimal natural condition for water sports. In early 2016 he contacted Antonio Del Duca with whom he has participated in several international events of the World Confederation of Underwater Activities (CMAS) and expressed his interest to become an FGC International Instructor. Del Duca saw him as an instructor of very high level. For this reason in September 2016 traveled for 15 days to Margarita Island  and instructed this worthy representative of the school.

Year 2011:

April-May (from 30 to 01)  First Anniversary of the Municipal Swimming pool, National Inter clubs Championship. Swimming with fins “Los Salias”, Miranda State- Venezuela.

Medals won: 3 gold medals in the categories: 50mts, 100mts and 200mts. Bi-fins.

 

August (from 6 to 7) National Youth Championship Swimming with fins. Instituto Pedagógico de Caracas – Venezuela.

Medals won: 3 gold medals in the Categories: 50mts, 100mts and 200mts. Bi-fins.

 

July (from 21 to 23) Second Nautical Festival Bialetas Mayores open waters, Ovetuda Cup.  Doradal beach, Puerto la Cruz, Anzoátegui State -Venezuela.

Achievement obtained: 2nd place. 3kmts.

 

September (from 03 to 04) 2nd Valid National Swimming with fins. Copa Aletas de Miranda,  Swimming pools Complex “Los Salias”. Miranda State -Venezuela.

Medals won: 3 gold medals in the Categories: 50mts, 100mts and 200mts. Bi-fins. Absolute National Record.

 

October (from 21 to 24) International Cup of Underwater Activities. La Habana Cuba.

Medals won: 3 medals in the following categories: 2 gold medals: 50mts and 100mts. Bi-fins; 1 silver medal: 200mts. Bi-fins.
